Do you basically want to copy China's system? Otherwise where do you think your suggestion differs from the Chinese model?

I think China has a much better system of government than the overwhelming majority of democracies as evidenced by their ability to make an idea as terrible as communism work out. However, I mention the federal reserve in particular because I think they happen to have a really good system. Relative to China, there is a more direct degree of democratic control which limits corruption, and they have greater specialization in the area they work in.

Central banks today work in a way where it's head have incentives to act in a way that the banking community wants to get consulting contracts after their tenure.

All specialists have private sector job opportunities to consider when they leave government. This is not something that is unique to central banks, and would be replicated if the same methods were used in other branches of government. I also don't think this is a large incentive. Keeping your current job is much more important than your next job. It also doesn't explain why the Supreme Court (another form of technocracy) is so much more effective at their job than Congress.

Are they? What is your evidence for this claim? There are a lot of bad Supreme Court precedents, e.g., disparate impact.

The Federal Reserve Chairman get's to keep his job for a predetermined time no matter how the economy does. There are no incentives other than incentives by reputation in the Federal Reserve to engage in actions that are good for the economy.

That depends a lot on what you mean with "effective at their job".

I think our German way of legislating abortion is much better than the US way that comes from the way the supreme court ruled the issue.

Many countries have parliaments that work much better than the US congress.
