Given people like Steve Job, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page and Sergey Brin having $1 salaries I don't think it's that horrible to tax them higher than 100% of their income.


Most of their wealth is tied up in unrealized gains on the stock they own in the companies they founded. If they really were taxed at over 100% on those unrealized gains then they would be in a bad place.

I don't think either of those people would have a problem with the government taxing them at 200% of income, which means taxing them $2.
